AN EXCELLING ACCREDITED ENGLISH PROGRAM

The New Intensive Courses in English program at UH-Manoa is accredited by the Commission on English Language Program Accreditation (CEA).

It has widely recognized strengths in tropical agriculture, tropical medicine, oceanography, astronomy, electrical engineering, volcanology, evolutionary biology, comparative philosophy, comparative religion, Hawaiian studies, Pacific Islands studies, Asian studies and Pacific and Asian regional public health.

Overall, the Psychology program at UH Manoa may not be among the top few programs in the nation, but it still provides a strong foundation, plenty of research opportunities, and a unique cultural setting for studying the subject.
